Super Eagles forward, Kelechi Iheanacho, has vowed to hit the net when Arsenal clash with Leicester City.
Iheanacho, 21, was on target last time both sides faced each other in the Premier League.
Ahead of Monday’s meeting, the Nigerian is hoping to maintain that goalscoring form.
“I scored Arsenal last season late in the season, I do hope I can score them again, ” the Foxes forward was quoted by Football Live on Monday.
“My major role is to score goals which I am always working hard to score.”
Despite limited game time for the Eagles, Iheanacho was glad that Odion Ighalo has hit top form.
He said: “Football is sometimes funny, sometimes the goals will get dried up and sometimes the goals will just keep coming, No doubts he is a proven goal scorer and am happy for him.
“I am just calm and ready to play for my country anytime I am called upon.
“Wearing national jersey is a thing of joy so I am always ready to give my best in the green white green colour.”
