Nollywood actor, IK Ogbonna, has disagreed with musician Timaya on his thought about local fashion designers.
Timaya had downplayed local fashion designers in an outburst directed at fashion bloggers on Friday.

“Yo blogs, don’t put me on your top 10 celebrity stylist of the year no more. I don’t like it. All these musicians and celebrities and whatsoever people you compare me with, they are all friends to tailors, they don’t even wear original stuff,” Timaya said.
In an apparent reply, IK Ogbonna said on Instastory that local products should be encouraged.
“Promote Nigerian designers. They doing an amazing job,” he said, “Shout out to all my tailor friends.”
The media personality added: “The Gucci and Prada are all tailors from other countries just as Afrobeat and is from Nigeria they also got trap.”
