The Ikeja Exclusive Lions Club under District 404B2 Nigeria has marked her second anniversary in Lagos.
The club was chartered at the International Association of Lions Clubs convention in Las Vegas, United States on August 1, 2018.
As part of the ceremony marking her second anniversary on Sunday, the club led by her president Lion Benedicta Akhuetie visited the Precious Pearl Orphanage Home in Egbeda.
On ground to receive the club was the founder of the home Hannah Omeiza and the children.
Akhuetie while presenting the donation thanked the founder for her contribution towards serving humanity and for adequately catering for the children.
The club donated various items such as industrial cooking gas and pot, bags of rice, garri, noodles, clothes and several choice items.
In appreciation, the club members were thrilled by the children to various dance steps.
The club thereafter had an exclusive party to celebrate her success over the past two years.
Part of its success stories is the carrying-out of 60 humanity services within and beyond Ikeja community in the last two years; international grant of $3,000 from Lion Club International to carry out diabetes awareness; production of the best president in the district in her first year 2018/2019 and sponsoring the charter of Ibadan Exclusive Lions Club 2019/2020 among others.
