Music producer and owner of Mavin Records Don Jazzy has said he will be signing two or three artistes in 2021.
The 38-year-old said this in an Interview published by Punch on Saturday.
When asked if he planned on signing new artistes he said he had planned to sign them this year but the coronavirus outbreak changed his plans.
He also said he will not be revealing the names of the artistes yet.
“I love grooming artistes so I have my eyes on a lot of people in this new generation and the one that is coming. But, I’m definitely not going to tell you who they are,” he said.
” I always wait for the perfect time before I making my moves. I was supposed to sign two or three artistes this year but the COVID-19 pandemic slowed things down, so watch out for them next year.”
Don Jazzy also said there was hope for the music industry and it’s something to look forward to.
“It is getting more structured now than it was when we were coming up. There is hope and something to look forward to. It looks great.”
Don Jazzy has signed artistes such as Tiwa Savage, Rema, Korede Bello, Reekado Banks, Dija among others.
