Comedian, Basketmouth, says he would run for the Nigerian presidency in 2019 election if Donald Trump wins the American presidential election.
The 38-year-old Glo ambassador made the statement in a message he posted on Instagram on Thursday.
Republican nominee, Trump, is contesting the November 8 US election with Democrat Hillary Clinton.
“If Donald Trump wins the US election, I’m so running for the Presidential election in Nigeria 2019,” Basketmouth said.
Many who commented on Baskemouth’s post dismissed it as another joke from the man who recently lost his mum.
But in the unlikely event that he announces his ambition, the Uniben graduate will be following the footstep of fellow comedian, Julius Agwu, who announced that he was contesting the 2015 Rivers State governorship election only to pull out even before the race started.
