Pop star Davido and his first baby mama Sophia Momodu have clashed on social media.
The discord between the duo started on Thursday when Sophia took to Twitter to talk about financial abuse.
Although she did not mention names, she said it was time to speak up.
According to Sophia, financially bullying a woman into staying with a man is the most disgusting thing a man can do.
She questioned why a man would make a woman take on his responsibilities because she chooses to move on and never look back.
Sophia, mother of Davido’s first child Imade, added that the laws in Nigeria do not protect women.
“Financially bullying a woman into staying with you has got to be the most disgusting thing a man can do. Especially when children are involved.
“There’s got to be a special place in hell for people who intentionally punish innocent children. It’s been almost a year. Enough is enough!!!!” She wrote.
Seemingly reacting to it, Davido tweeted a screenshot of him dancing to his hit song “Unavailable”, adding that he has no time for trouble.
“I no get time for wahala I dey IBIZA!!!!” He wrote.
On Friday, however, Sophia warned in another cryptic post that she would “set it all on fire”.
“Don’t you dare 🧢 or imma set it all on 🔥,” she wrote, this time on Snapchat.
Last year, after the news of Davido’s wedding to Chioma broke, Sophia made a cryptic post on Instagram.
She posted a clip of a cat fighting with a dog, stating that she has “never seen a cat take rubbish from a dog.”
Before Davido married Chioma, the latter reportedly moved out of the house following rumour that Davido had a romantic relationship with a woman overseas.
