Actress Chioma Chukwuka has called out the organisers of the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) over what she described as “disrespect.”
The Gangs of Lagos actress in a now deleted Instagram post claimed she received a call from a representative of the organisation who asked her to come to their office to pick up her ticket to the event holding on Saturday.
Chioma said she felt disrespected and ended the call but the representative called back.
“The AMVCA representative called back but I didn’t pick the call for two reasons.
“1. I was visibly upset and irritated by what I had just been told over the phone.”
“2. My attention was needed on my production set.”
