Manchester United have been dealt a transfer blow as top target Willian claimed he is happy in London.
The Chelsea star has been linked with both Man United and Barcelona as his future at Stamford Bridge is in doubt.
The Brazil ace has spent more time as a substitute than as a starter over the previous two campaigns.
But his talents are still attracting interest from top European sides who feel his all-round game will improve their squads.
On Saturday it was reported Man United had agreed to a £66million fee for the player, but the player himself has poured cold water on the speculation.
He told Globo Esporte: “[Leaving?] No, I’m back to England. I’m very happy at Chelsea.
“I’m very happy living in London.”
Willian joined the Blues in 2013 from Shakhtar Donetsk and has featured over 150 times, scoring 25 goals.
