Even with millions of adoring fans, regular gigs, chart-topping songs and real estate, Tiwa Savage says she is hustling like she is still broke.
The mother of one made the statement in an Instagram post on Tuesday.
Standing by the sign to the street named after her in Lekki, Lagos, the singer wrote: “Got a street named after me but I’m hustling like I’m STILL BROKE.”
The post is, however, not an indication of the 38-year-old’s financial status but a promo for clothing firm Still Broke Clothings Limited.
Tiwa wore the firm’s leggings in the picture she posted on Instagram.
One other thing Tiwa is promoting is the video of DJ Enimoney’s Diet featuring her, Reminisce and Slimcase.
