Beneath the carefree garb worn by media celebrity Toke Makinwa is a woman who hurts occasionally.
The 32-year-old disclosed that much on Thursday, when she tweeted that she broke down and cried in her dressing room the night before.
Last night I broke down in my dressing room, I just cried till I couldn’t hear my voice , juggling is hard, I’m no superwoman and it’s ok

Toke’s estranged husband, Maje Ayida, recently threatened to sue her over the content of her bestselling book titled On Becoming.
A letter from his lawyers claimed the book contained fabricated accounts of what happened in their marriage and demanded stoppage of further sale.
The lawyers also requested that she retracts “defamatory” comments made about Maje and apologise publicly.
According to the lawyers, Toke had been “relentless” and “limitless” in her quest for publicity.
She didn’t seem bothered and embarked on tours to Ghana and Kenya for the promotion of the book.
