Former presidential nominee, Hillary Clinton, has ruled out another shot at the presidency.
Mrs Clinton told New York’s News 12 TV channel on Tuesday that she would, however, keep talking about her beliefs.
“I’m not running, but I’m going to keep on working and speaking and standing up for what I believe,” Clinton said.
Clinton became the first female presidential nominee for a major US party as she clinched the Democratic Party ticket in 2016 after fierce battle from Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders.
She suffered a shock loss to Republican Donald Trump.
Asked by News 12 if she would run again for any public office in future, she said: “I don’t think so.”
This would be the first time Clinton would be publicly giving a definite answer as to a possible run for the presidency.
Mr Sanders has already declared his intention to contest for the ticket again.
He joins Massachusetts Senator, Elizabeth Warren, who was the first big name to declare a run.
Former US Vice President, Joe Biden, reports say, is considering a run.
