President of African Development Bank (AfDB) Akinwumi Adesina has joked that he is now a student of Tolani Alli, former official photographer of ex-Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
Adesina stated this in an Instagram post on Saturday, with a photo of himself, Alli and Osinbajo and another photo of himself taking photos with a camera.
The photos were taken at the memorial service of David Oloruntoba.
Adesina said he has been impressed with Alli’s work since Osinbajo recommended her to work at AfDB.
According to him, Alli is excellent at telling stories with pictures.
“Tolani Alli does incredible work on visual story telling with cameras and photos. She did such an amazing job for Nigeria’s Vice President @profosinbajo, who encouraged her to join me at the African Development Bank. Now, I am her student! @tolanialli,” he wrote.
Earlier, Adesina thanked Osinbajo for attending the memorial service.
“A great brother and friend: thank you Prof. @profosinbajo (Vice President of Nigeria, 2015-2023) for being with us for the memorial service for our late brother, Dr. David Yinka Oloruntoba. You are such a great friend of our family. We love and appreciate you very much,” he wrote on Instagram.
