Crossdresser James Obialor, popularly known as James Brown, has revealed plans to visit his colleague Bobrisky who has been released from prison.
On Monday, James Brown made a post on Instagram with the caption, “Morning routine cravings by Princess of Africowwww. Omo is not easy to be a lady.”
An Instagram user identified as Mhiz Blizz informed the crossdresser of Bobrisky’s release in the comment section, saying, “Ur senior colleague is back ooo.” He responded, “I day prepare to go greet am.”
Additionally, James Brown took to his Instagram Story to welcome Bobrisky, saying, “Hi, darlings, good morning. Congrats to us and all the community of silvers.
“It is called silver, not… Your red queen, your dark queen, has come out. Yes. Some parts of heaven are rejoicing, while others are… Let’s pray they come back in peace. I know there are some people he wants to take revenge on, but yeah.”
On June 7, James Brown shared pictures of his visit to Kirikiri correctional centre, claiming that he visited Bobrisky.
He captioned the post, “I went to Kirekire prison to visit Bobrisky to know if she is alright.”
In 2022, the online personality, who used to be a mentee of Bobrisky, revealed that they were friends until he became a “drag queen”. According to him, Bobrisky felt “threatened” after he started cross-dressing and dancing on Instagram.
The 25-year-old also claimed his senior colleague made several threats to his life “if I didn’t stop being James Brown.”
Bobrisky was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on March 24 for spraying naira notes at the premiere of Ajakaju: Beast of Two Worlds, produced by Eniola Ajao.
He was arraigned at the Lagos State High Court on a four-count charge.
On April 12, Justice Abimbola Awogboro sentenced Bobrisky, who calls himself mummy of Lagos, to six months in prison.
He was released on Monday from Kirikiri correctional facility in Lagos.
