Evangelist Anu Elizabeth, a former lead chorister at the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), has joined others in paying tribute to the church’s founder Prophet TB Joshua on his first death anniversary.
Anu “tagged the tribute posted across her social media pages Anu Elizabeth Confession”, with a video that carries the message “I am my father’s daughter”
Writing in the 38 seconds video in which she sings in the background Anu said “A tribute to my mentor, my father. He was one of a kind and I am grateful to God Almighty for making me part of your family.”
Anu, who is now the CEO of Mercy of God Music Company returned to social media in April after about four months of silence.
She made her return with a video of her performing a cover version of Nathaniel Bassey’s hit song ‘Olowogbogboro’.
Anu was also at a praise and worship ministration at Ark of God Covenant Ministry (AGCOM) in Cameroon in October 2021.
A video uploaded on social media by Anu shows the founder of AGCOM, Apostle John Chi, describing her as a wonderful sister.
John Chi, one of the five wise men anointed by Joshua, left SCOAN to start AGCOM before his mentor’s death on June 5, 2021.
Anu has also been to Botswana for ministration after Joshua’s death and her exit from SCAN.
Like other disciples who left SCOAN after Joshua’s death, Anu calls Joshua’s widow Pastor Evelyn Joshua mummy.
In a message posted on social media to celebrate Evelyn’s 53rd birthday on December 17, she wrote “Happy birthday mummy. Many more years to come in Jesus Christ’s Name.”
