Rapper Skales has opened up about his regrets following the death of his mother in October 2022.
In an interview with BET Africa, the artiste revealed that losing his mother made him acutely aware of the responsibility to carry on his family’s bloodline.
Reflecting on this Skales admitted, “Right now, I regret not having baby mamas. I really regret it because I’m the only person in my family bloodline that is alive. So, the whole bloodline relies on me to produce.”
He further shared that his mother’s passing made him realise how little remains of his lineage.
The 33-year-old artiste became a father in March 2023, welcoming his first child with his wife Precious Njeng-Njeng.
The couple who tied the knot in May 2021 are embracing parenthood together.
Skales also made headlines earlier this year after comparing himself to the biblical figure King Solomon.
He revealed that he had dated about 100 women, a statement that stirred conversation across social media.
