Singer Olawale Olofroro popularly known as Brymo has declared himself the most innovative artiste in Nigeria.
The 35-year-old said this in a Twitter post on Tuesday.
“I’m the most innovative artiste in Nigeria. I have been Nigeria’s artiste of the year every year since 2013,” he wrote.
The Lagos-born singer released his debut album Brymstone in 2007.
According to him, he started recording music in 1999 while in secondary school.
Bymo signed a record deal with Chocolate City in 2010 but was accused of breaching his contract with the label in 2013.
He later signed an international distribution deal with Tate Music Group in 2015. Brymo released his fifth studio album Klĭtôrĭs in May 2016. It comprises 11 tracks and was preceded by the lead single “Happy Memories”.
In March 2018, Brymo released his critically acclaimed sixth studio album Oṣó. Six months later, he released the self-referential fictional novel Oriri’s Plight.
In 2020, he claimed that his Yellow album is the best out of Africa.
