Singer, John Ighodaro, popularly known as Johnny Drille, has described himself as one who is too young to be old.
Johnny Drille said this while celebrating his 32nd birthday on Instagram on Tuesday.
“I usually disappear on my birthday, but not today, I’m too young to be this old. P.S. Gonna be hard to see all my DMs today, please send wishes here, don’t wanna miss any messages you send to me today,” he wrote along with photos of himself.”
Johnny Drille, who is currently signed to Mavin Records, began his musical career in church. He was one of the contestants on the sixth season of Project Fame West Africa in 2013.
In 2015, he released a cover of Di’Ja’s ‘Awww’, which caught the attention of Mavin’s CEO, Don Jazzy.
Drille won the Best Alternative Song award at The Headies 2019.
