Lagos State Police Command has debunked the rumour that social media influencer Blessing Okoro popularly known as Blessing CEO was arrested.
Blessing CEO was reported to have been taken in by the police over her alleged involvement in the case between businessman Ikechukwu Ogbonna aka IVD and late wife, Bimbo.
A video which went viral on Thursday on Instagram and Twitter showed the influencer being led to an armoured police car.
However, spokesman of the police in Lagos Benjamin Hundeyin told PUNCH that “she was not arrested by the Lagos state police.”
He, however, did not provide further details.
Blessing CEO reportedly avoided court appearances for weeks before the police swooped in on her.
The self-acclaimed relationship expert had pointed fingers at the elder sister of the late Bimbo and accused the family of going after IVD’s property and his life.
She also alleged that the late Bimbo was equally not a saint, adding that the deceased physically abused her husband several times before her demise.
