Instagram influencers, Amarachi Amusi, popularly known as Ashmusy, and Chinonso Ukah, better known as Nons Miraj, have debunked speculation that they had a tryst with Senator Dino Melaye.
Anonymous blogger Gistlover recently posted a picture of Melaye, who is the spokesperson for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Council, and the two women on Instagram.
The post was captioned “I like fine fine pictures Sha. HARD WORK UNDER DINO NO BE SMALL WORK OO I DEY COME.”
It came after OAP Nedu claimed in a podcast that he saw two unnamed female celebrities having a threesome with an equally unnamed male friend at Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.
Reacting to Gistlover’s speculation in a post on Instagram, Ashmusy revealed that she has never met Melaye personally, adding that the blogger was chasing clout.
She wrote: “LIES UPON Lies!!!!! I don’t even know DINO Personally. Never ever met him in my lifetime!!!!! God forbid such a terrible lie, just for clout.
“Don’t tell me to ignore. I won’t! It’s painful. We keep ignoring for how long?? Till when? I have never seen Dino in my life. I don’t do any of that nonsense. At some point, it will be time to speak, speak outtt. Don’t I have emotions? Stop the lies blog stop it!!”
Nons Miraj on the other hand dared the blogger to release proof of the alleged affair on social media.
She wrote: “Bring receipts oooo. I dare you, no go another gist. Complete this one first.”
In a bid to further prove her innocence, the skit maker also shared the conversation she had with Nedu.
In a now-deleted post on her Instagram page, Nons urged Nedu to mention the names of the celebrities he met at Transcorp Hilton Hotel because a blogger wants to tarnish her image.
Melaye has also denied having any kind of relationship with the influencers.
