Nollywood actress Ini Dima-Okojie has been cleared to travel three weeks after she underwent fibroids operation.
The 30-year-old made this announcement in an Instagram post on Monday.
She shared a video of herself in a wheel chair and also in a plane.
Ini thanked everyone that showed her love and prayed for her as she gets stronger.
“3 weeks Post-op and I’ve finally been cleared to travel. Of course I need to take it super easy at least now j can attempt to go and celebrate my own Christmas and new year.
“I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you all for the love you shown me, the messages, the prayers,” she wrote.
Ini had opened up about her harrowing battle with fibroids in December 2020.
She said she found out she had fibroid in 2017.
“I found out I had fibroids in 2017, I remember freaking out so much. The first gynecologist I saw said if it wasn’t really bordering me he would advice I leave it alone but that I had better go and quickly get married (🙄 no jokes),” she wrote.
Ini also said she was to undergo surgery to remove it in March but the COVID-19 distrupted the process.
“Anyways, fast forward to March 2020, the bulge on my lower belly had gotten bigger & my new gynecologist advised I take out the fibroids. Then Covid happened and we had to put the surgery on hold,” she said.
