Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing (IVM) Ltd has confirmed that the police, army among others patronise its made in Nigeria cars.
The vehicle manufacturer tweeted on Wednesday night in confirmation of statements by a fact-finding brand.
Innoson tweeted “Fact” to the following statements: “Nigeria’s Federal Road Safety Corps use Made in Nigeria cars from Innoson.
“Nigerian fire fighters use Made in Nigeria fire trucks from Innoson.
“Nigerian Police use Made in Nigeria cars from Innoson.
“Nigerian Army use Made in Nigeria vehicles and trucks from Innoson.”
There have been concerns that the local manufacturer might not be getting enough support from the government.
Last December, there were worries over the fate of the company amid plans by Hyundai Engineering Company Limited to set up a car plant in Nigeria.
