Nigerian comedian and MC, Wale Gates, on Wednesday took a swipe at social media celebrity, Bobrisky, saying it is insulting for anyone to compare the cross dresser with popular TV presenter, Denrele Edun.
The UK-based entertainer, who was a member of Theatre 15 with Denrele back at the University of Lagos, also wondered why Bobrisky was given a speaking role at the New Media, Citizens & Governance Conference in Abuja.
Unlike Denrele, he said the male Barbie “creates attention with no influence.”
It’s insulting to compare Denrele with bobrisky, I was in Theatre 15 Unilag with Denrele he’s a very talented actor. He knows his craft.

Bobrisky’s sexuality is his business I don’t care, it’s the circus & drama he creates with no end goal i don’t get.

He’s not a hit, he’s a circus that would go wrong soon. https://t.co/3jTIaKYxXy

He doesn’t have any influence, he creates attention with no influence. Anyone can create attention. https://t.co/lSWgPgfz5G
