Like the opportunists that they are, Nigerian brands have jumped on the #KeepTheChangeBae drama between a female Twitter user who reportedly sent N5000 to a man who demanded a relationship in exchange for the N3800 he spent on a date they had together.
The woman with the hashtag @Missmoshiku has received plaudits for her epic clapback from financial institutions like First Bank and Wema Bank.
Joining the fray too are third party payment platforms, Verve and Quickteller.
Their intervention, however, didn’t escape the attention of Interswitch, which branded both firms kids having fun.
