Nigerians have stormed Twitter to question actress Iyabo Ojo’s marital status following an announcement that she will be starring in a new reality show The Real Housewives of Lagos alongside Caroline Danjuma, Toyin Lawani and others.
The announcement was made earlier on Twitter by singer Darey Alade.
“It’s been sleepless nights and intense emotions working on this baby! Presenting the Gorgeous, Delectable, Beautiful, Hardworking, Independent, Ladies of the debut season of The Real House Wives of Lagos!!” he wrote.
Following the announcement, tweeps who felt that the single mum should not be in a reality show about housewives took to the social media platform to react.
“Is she a wife?” @DelphinaDeogra asked.
“When did Iyabo Ojo get married,” @Amanda_23 questioned.
“Are they all housewives?” @Blessed wrote.
“Iyabo Ojo is single why is she there?” @Sola wrote.
“Iyabo Ojo doesn’t fit a good housewife…It would have been better if Adesuwa Etomi, Kate Henshaw, Funke Akindele, Toyin Lawani acted in it,” @Dramaidol wrote.
