One half of the now-defunct P-Square, Peter Okoye, has had a hospital ward named after him in Nairobi, Kenya.
In a post to Instagram on Wednesday, the 36-year-old revealed that he took time off rehearsals to visit some cancer survivors at the hospital before his concert in the country.
He revealed that the experience was mind-blowing, adding that it is was a privilege to have a ward name after him in the centre.
“Had a mind-blowing experience listening to the stories of the cancer survivors and the good work the centre has been doing for thousands in the last eight years. It is also a privilege to have a ward in my name at the centre,” he wrote.
Peter and his brothers, Jude and Paul are currently not in good terms.
He accuses them of disrespecting his wife, Lola Omotayo, a fact blamed for the break of P-Square.
