Music producer, Don Jazzy, on Sunday borrowed a line from Jamaican singer, Shaggy, in reaction to the news that popular blogger, Linda Ikeji, is pregnant.
“It wasn’t me,” the Mavin Record boss tweeted shortly after the 37-year-old announced that she was pregnant with a baby boy.
It wasn’t me.

‘It Wasn’t Me’ is the biggest single from Shaggy’s 2000 album, Hotshot.
The lyrics of the song depict a man asking his friend what to do after his girlfriend caught him having sex with another woman. His friend’s advice is to deny everything, despite clear evidence to the contrary, with the phrase “It wasn’t me.”

Don Jazzy has often joked about having a crush on Linda, who is two years older than him.
He posted a picture of friends consoling him as he cried in March after it was reported that the former model was engaged to an old lover.
He tagged the post, “Kai Linda is engaged. It is finished.”
