Trinity House Church and Pastor Ituah Ighodalo have paid tributes to Ibidunni Ighodalo on the fourth anniversary of her death.
Ibidunni, a former beauty queen, event manager and co-pastor of the church, died in the early hours of Sunday, June 14, 2020, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Before her death, the 39-year-old was on assignment to set up a COVID-19 isolation centre for the River State Government.
Pastor Ighodalo and the church made a joint post on Instagram on Friday to celebrate Ibidunni, saying they missed her dearly.
A photo they shared contained the words: “4th year remembrance. Those who touch our lives stay in our hearts forever. Pastor Mrs Ibidunni Olajumoke Ighodalo, we miss you dearly and will always love you. From all of us at TH.”
The post was captioned, “We thank God for the time He gave us to have you, and you will remain in our hearts forever.”
Ibidunni founded Elizabeth R, a public relations and event company; and Ibidunni Ighodalo Foundation, a non-profit organisation that supports families with infertility challenges.
She married Ighodalo in 2007.
Ibidunni’s funeral in 2020 was attended by a number of high-profile individuals including the late former governor of Ondo State Rotimi Akeredolu, who represented Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki.
Emir of Kano and former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Muhammad Sanusi, was also at the event alongside Ovation Magazine publisher, Dele Momodu.
Also present was Pastor Idowu Iluyomade, the suspended senior pastor of City of David Parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.
In 2023, Ighodalo told Arise TV in an interview that one of his daughters advised him not to remarry. He, however, said he may take another wife when his children are older.
