Singer Ayra Starr has explained that she has been performing almost on a daily basis since October following questions on her vocal prowess.
“My loves, I’ve been performing almost every day since October. Of course, my voice is strained,” the ‘Bloody Samaritan’ singer tweeted on Tuesday.
Born Oyinkansola Aderibigbe, Ayra Starr maintained that despite the strain she is still talented.
“I be human being , so please dead that ‘Ayra Starr cannot sing bs’, dead it fast fast. It’s all talent and grace here baby,” she added.
Ayra Starr recently expressed excitement after Wizkid followed her back on Instagram.
Signed to Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records, the 19-year-old caught the attention of the Nigerian audience with the release of her debut hit, ‘Away’, early this year.
In August, she released her debut album, 19 and Dangerous, which earned her the number 2 spot on Billboard’s Next Big Sound chart in the same month.
