Afrobeats star Tiwa Savage has shared candid details about her relationship experiences, views on intimacy and struggles with sexual satisfaction.
In a revealing chat on The Receipts Podcast with hosts Tolly T and Audrey, the global music icon opened up about the complexities of her romantic history.
Tiwa stunned many with her bold assertion that cheating has never been the reason she ended a relationship.
Instead, she cited deeper issues such as drug abuse, emotional neglect, and ghosting.
“I have never left a man because he cheated on me. I’ve left due to so many reasons like drug abuse, emotional abuse, and being ghosted,” she said in a snippet shared on Thursday.
The singer also made a surprising confession about her sexual journey, admitting she has never experienced an orgasm despite being sexually active.
“I don’t think I’ve ever had an orgasm. Like, I don’t even have sex toys,” Tiwa revealed.
However, she expressed admiration for sex toys, calling them tools that empower women to explore and embrace their pleasure.
The music star also questioned societal norms like monogamy, noting her skepticism about its relevance in modern relationships, especially in light of rising divorce rates, including her own split from music executive Tunji Balogun, popularly known as Tee Billz.
In October, Tiwa Savage recounted a personal experience of being turned down by a man after visiting his house unannounced with the intent of being intimate.
She admitted to feeling disappointed when her advances were rejected.
