Super Eagles forward, Alex Iwobi, has seemingly remained silent after Arsenal teammate, Theo Walcott’s departure to Everton.
Walcott, 28, on Wednesday, ended his 12-year association with the north London club, moving to Merseyside.
Tributes have continued to pour in for the English from fans and ex-teammates.
But surprisingly, though, Iwobi is yet to utter a word on social media about Walcott.
Especially as the Nigerian looks up to the ex-Southampton prodigy.
“Theo [Walcott] is one of the more experienced players and he would know how to go about doing this, he still motivates the team and puts in a good shift in training,” Iwobi told the club’s official website in December.
“I even look up to him at times, he tells me what to do and gives me advice. Everyone is there to each other, the chemistry is there.
His last post was almost two weeks ago before the Gunners’ shock FA Cup third round exit at the hands of Nottingham Forest.
The Nigerians sudden blackout on the online space may be unconnected to the pre-Forest game claims by The Sun.
Iwobi was allegedly pictured partying 48 hours before the trip to the Championship side.
