Actresses Iyabo Ojo and Bimbo Afolayan have joined in celebrating their colleague Funke Akindele, as she turns 47.
Both actresses took to their Instagram accounts on Saturday to share posts honoring Funke.
Iyabo Ojo posted a picture of Funke with the caption, “Happy birthday, Ore mi aka Jenifa @funkejenifaakindele. I’m so proud of the person you’ve become and all you’ve achieved.
“Through life’s ups and downs, you keep winning. I pray God grants your heart’s desires and fills your life with joy and success. I wish you a wonderful birthday and an amazing year ahead!”
Bimbo Afolayan posted a video compilation celebrating Funke, praising her as someone who sparks positive change and offering prayers for her:
“Happy birthday to someone who continues to spark positive change in the world. Your dedication to making a difference is truly commendable.
“On your special day, I hope you feel as loved and supported as you make everyone else feel. Happy birthday to an exceptional sister and a true inspiration! Happy birthday sis @funkejenifaakindele.”
Funke Akindele also took to Instagram to express her gratitude to God.
She wrote, “I’m up and grateful, Oh Lord!!! It’s my birthday!!! #everybodylovesjenifa is coming to the Cinemas in December. Get ready. Thank you all for the love and support.”
Other actors, including Uzee Usman, Destiny Etiko, and Tobi Makinde, also joined in celebrating Funke Akindele.
