Actress Iyabo Ojo has joined her colleague Eniola Badmus in promoting Funke Akindele’s new film Battle on Buka Street.
Directed by Funke Akindele, Battle on Buka Street is a story about two women who found themselves at loggerheads when they set up a food business on the same street causing commotion and rivalry between their families.
Iyabo posted a video of herself on Instagram on Thursday, showing off her invitation to the movie premiere on December 16.
The 44-year-old who ended her beef with Funke at the 2022 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) described herself as the ‘vawulence mama’, adding that she will be attending the event.
She wrote: “It’s a battle things happening on the 11th of Dec @ the Filmhouse Landmark event center oniru The movie premier of #battleofbukastreet …. A Funke Akindele 8& Tobi Makinde film, i the Vawulence mama shall be there, live & direct to watch & slay! @funkejenifaakindele congratulations dear.”
Reacting in the comment of the post, Funke expressed gratitude to her colleague saying, “lyabo mi. se gan. Wow. amazed and grateful. OJU o niti e. See you there my sister. Thank you.”
This comes days after Eniola Badmus shocked her Instagram followers when she shared a poster of Funke’s movie on the platform despite their political division.
Captioning the post, Eniola urged her followers to watch the soon-to-be released film.
Reacting in the comment section of the post, a happy Funke thanked her friend saying, “Badosky, ose dear.”
Since her emergence as the deputy governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos, Funke and Eniola have been politically divided over their support for preferred presidential and governorship candidates.
