Actress Iyabo Ojo has mocked her colleague Lizzy Anjorin over an allegation that she stole gold at a popular market on Lagos Island.
A video of Lizzy being accosted and nearly attacked by some vendors in a shop has been circulating on the internet since February 5.
In the video, Lizzy who wore a face mask could be seen trying to defend herself while others kept calling her a thief.
Reacting to the clip on her Instagram account, Iyabo Ojo posted a video of a cartoon character from the Dream Works animation Madagascar, dancing as a Fuji song played in the background.
The background music was culled from Lizzy Anjorin’s husband’s estranged wife Fola Tinubu who also mocked Lizzy.
The post came with several laughing emojis from Iyabo Ojo.
The 46-year-old also posted another video of herself drinking bear with the hashtag “Justice for Iyabo Ojo” as the caption.
Iyabo could also be seen dancing in the video while drinking.
Still feeling vindicated, Iyabo posted a throwback video of her late mother Victoria Olubnunmi Fetuga on her Instagram account in which she accused Lizzy of insulting the deceased and her grandchildren on several occasions.
“She insulted you & your grandchildren countlessly but even in death you have won ….. na she dey do esin Agbaye, now I know you’re not sleeping keep watching over us 🕊️🤍 rest on #sweetmother,” a happy Iyabo captioned the video.
Lizzy has since then cleared the air on what transpired between her and the vendor.
In a video shared on her Instagram account on Monday night, the businesswoman said she purchased some accessories at the vendor’s shop in November 2023 and her husband made the transfer and when she asked the vendor if he had seen the money, he said no. Lizzy said she left and came back after two hours and the vendor confirmed the payment and gave her the accessories.
Clearing the air on the theft allegation, Lizzy said when she recently returned to the market, the same vendor confronted her and told her the transaction she made last year was unsuccessful but he could not remember the month of the payment. She said she was immediately accosted and nearly attacked by the vendor and others accusing her of defrauding him.
Iyabo and Lizzy have been at each other’s throats since the latter accused a fictional character she calls Sepeteri of having a threesome with her daughter and being responsible for the death of singer Mohbad.
