Actress Iyabo Ojo has expressed appreciation to her in-laws and the women of Tanzania for their warm reception of her daughter, Priscilla.
Iyabo shared a video on Instagram late Friday, capturing the treatment Priscilla received from her Tanzanian in-laws.
The footage showed Priscilla enjoying dinner with women from the Mkambala family, all dressed in matching traditional attire.
In her post, Iyabo Ojo thanked the Mkambala women for their kindness and hospitality, writing, “Thank you so much to the beautiful women of the Mkambala for the acceptance and warm welcome of my precious daughter.
“@its.priscy Ololufe @juma_jux. A special thank you to my beautiful, energetic, superb, and amazing in-law @fatma8five.”
This warm welcome followed Priscilla’s journey to Tanzania with her fiancé, singer Juma Jux, after a week-long stay in Nigeria.
Upon their arrival at Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam, they were greeted by a crowd, complete with drummers, singers, dancers, and TV reporters.
Priscilla was showered with gifts, including a framed engagement photo, flowers, and more.
She also shared clips of the convoy that escorted them from the airport, reminiscent of the warm reception she had given Juma during his visit to Nigeria.
