Actress Iyabo Ojo has expressed gratitude to her son-in-law, Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, for his love and dedication to her daughter, Priscilla Ojo, after he proposed to her again with a diamond ring reportedly worth 5.2 carats.
In an Instagram post on Thursday, a day after the proposal, Iyabo reflected on her journey as a mother, acknowledging her struggles and the faith that has guided her.
The proposal saw Toyin Abraham, Chioma Goodhair, Enioluwa Adeoluwa, Jux’s family among others in attendance.
She described Juma Jux as more than just a son-in-law, referring to him as “MY SON” while appreciating him for his love and commitment to Priscilla.
“I thank God for bringing an amazing son, @juma_jux, into our family. You’re not just a son-in-law; you’re MY SON. Thank you for loving my daughter, Priscilla, and for being an incredible man. 
”
Iyabo also expressed pride in Priscilla, thanking her for making her proud and blessing her new home. She prayed for joy and happiness in the lives of those celebrating with them.
“@its.priscy, my adorable daughter, I’m so super proud of you for making me proud. Thank you for being an amazing and wonderful daughter. Your new home is blessed, and your children shall make you proud too, my jewel of inestimable value. ”
She extended gratitude to fans and well-wishers, praying for joy in their homes as well.
Priscilla and Juma Jux had their traditional Islamic wedding (Nikkai) last Friday in Tanzania, with family and friends in attendance.
Photos from the ceremony have since surfaced on social media, capturing moments from the celebration.
