Actress Iyabo Ojo, her son Festus Ojo and influencer Enioluwa Adeoluwa have arrived in Tanzania ahead of Priscilla Ojo’s wedding to her fiancé, Tanzanian singer Juma Jux.
Priscilla shared a clip on her Instagram Story on Wednesday, showing her welcoming her brother Festus with a bouquet and the Tanzanian flag.
Enioluwa also posted a video from his flight to Tanzania on Instagram on Wednesday, captioning it, “My best friend left me, so now her mother and I travel together. You know where we are off to?”
He also thanked his travel partner for making their journey seamless.
A separate video captured Iyabo, Enioluwa and Iyabo’s friend Shantiz, at the Tanzania airport, where they received a grand welcome.
A traditional music band awaited their arrival, playing and singing in their native language.
Iyabo, visibly excited, joined in the dancing as she was presented with a bouquet, traditional wrappers and other gifts.
Another viral clip showed Iyabo and Juma Jux’s mother dancing to one of his songs.
Reports of Priscilla’s wedding plans surfaced in late 2024.
In an interview with actress Biola Adebayo, Iyabo confirmed that her daughter would tie the knot this year.
She expressed excitement, stating that she had always wished for Priscilla to marry early.
The 47-year-old praised her future son-in-law and revealed that a private family introduction had already taken place.
The traditional and church weddings are set for Nigeria, with a ceremony in Tanzania.
Priscilla had introduced Juma to her family in August when he visited Nigeria for his birthday.
Iyabo had officially welcomed him, declaring that being “extra” runs in their family.
Speaking about the engagement, the actress reaffirmed her long-held belief in the power of spoken words, saying she had always declared that her daughter would marry early.
She also described Juma as a family-oriented man and shared that wedding preparations were already in motion.
