Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo and media personality, Stephanie Coker, have joined separate peaceful protests to protest against gender-based violence.
They both shared pictures of themselves holding placards at the events on Instagram on Monday.
The post shared by 42-year-old Iyabo shows her at a walk organised by the first lady of Ogun State, Bamidele Abiodun, in Abeokuta the Ogun State capital.
“A walk against rape and child abuse by Her Excellency @bamideleabiodunofficial . All classes of people must stand against abuse of any kind…,” she captioned it.
While Stephanie, 31, shared a picture of herself protesting at the office of the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, in Ikeja, the state capital.
She wrote, “We can all affect positive change in our own little way. Stand in your individual power…”
Actress, Tonto Dikeh and comedian, Real Warri Pikin, have also joined similar protests in Abuja on Friday.
Other celebrities such as Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Genevieve Nnaji, Tiwa Savage, Davido and others have added their voices to the cause on social media.
