Iyabo Ojo’s children, who are currently in the United States, have met with their father after six years.
In a post to Instagram on Monday, Iyabo’s children, Festus and Priscilla Ojo revealed that it is been six years they since they last saw their dad.
“Hi guys meet my dad, we haven’t seen for about six years, I’m glad we got to hang out and reunite,” Priscilla wrote.
“This is my dad for all those who have wondered what he looks like. Even though I have not seen him in about six years it felt like only weeks ago when I saw him today,” Festus wrote.
Iyabo got married to Mr. Ojo, a movie marketer in 1999; she was 21 at the time. The marriage produced a son and then a daughter; they were born in 1999 and 2001 respectively.
She and her ex-husband separated shortly after their daughter was born. She attributed the breakup of her marriage to getting married too young.
Iyabo has spoken of her intention to stop using her former husband’s surname, Ojo.
