Actress Iyabo Ojo’s daughter, Priscilla Ojo, and her husband, Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, have officially invited former Tanzanian President Dr. Jakaya Kikwete to their upcoming wedding in May.
Jux shared a video of their visit on Instagram on Wednesday, showing the couple at Kikwete’s residence. The meeting also served as an official introduction of their union.
Expressing his excitement, Jux wrote, “Finally I have gotten a chance and a big blessing to officially introduce my lovely wife @its.priscy to Hon. Dr. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, the retired president of the fourth phase of the Republic of Tanzania, together with his beloved wife Mama Salma Kikwete.”
The singer further revealed that he invited Kikwete to a special event in Nigeria in April, ahead of their wedding finale in Tanzania.
“I also had the opportunity to officially extend the invitation to our next big concert of #JP2025. Where we expect to have a special ceremony in April in Nigeria, and the end will be here at home in Tanzania in May,” he added.
The couple received a warm welcome at the former president’s home, where they were treated to special hospitality.
This visit follows their Nikkai wedding in February, which was attended by close family and friends. After the ceremony, Priscilla excitedly announced her new Muslim name, Hadiza Mkambala, to the delight of many fans.
The wedding, held in Tanzania, saw the presence of celebrities such as Enioluwa Adeoluwa, Toyin Abraham, Chioma Good Hair and singer Diamond Platnumz.
