Music producer and CEO of Mavin Records, Don Jazzy, has signed popular singer and performer, Iyanya, to his label.
The announcement was made on Monday, the day Iyanya clocked 30.
It comes three months after Iyanya left Ubi Franklin’s Made Men Music Group (MMMG).
A lot of controversy trailed his exit from the label which he co-owned with Ubi.
While some speculated that Iyanya did not favour the union between his former partner and wife, Lilian, others insisted the pair had been fighting over finances and decisions regarding the label.
The ‘Oreo’ singer signed an artiste management deal with Temple Management Company.”
“I have now completed work on my new album which will be released under a new record label,” he said back then.
Iyanya has already dropped a new single featuring Don Jazzy and Dr Sid under Mavin and titled ‘Up2Sumeting’.
The former Project Fame winner now has Tiwa Savage, Korede Bello, Di’Ja, Dr Sid and Reekado Banks as label mates.
