Jamaican musician, Buju Banton, has met with pop star, Davido, at a concert venue in the Bahamas after serving a seven years jail sentence.
The 45-year-old reggae star shared the picture via Instagram on Saturday.
“Africa and Jamaica. We this generation will make this long awaited reunion with each other our life’s purpose, let us see the land where our god loves to be and hear our brothers and sisters voices calling All Africans at home and abroad,” he wrote.
In 2009, Buju Banton was arrested on drug-related charges in the United States and his first trial resulted in a hung jury.
Buju was convicted on the same criminal charge in 2011 and was imprisoned in the U.S. until December 2018.
