Crossdresser James Brown has congratulated his “Imo sister” Chioma Rowland, expressing his surprise at learning they are both from the same state.
In his Instagram post late on Monday, June 24, James Brown also lamented that Chioma’s soon-to-be husband Davido has blocked him.
He expressed surprise at discovering Chioma’s Imo State origins, saying, “Ahhhh I don’t know Chioma is (from) Imo State o, nobody told me Chioma is (from) Imo State.”
Switching to a more familiar tone, the crossdresser greeted Chioma in the native dialect, saying, “Chioma diaalu, ehn dede, lolo ahn ahn wow.” He continued emphasising his connection with Chioma, stating, “Chioma is my sister ehn, we the gossiper of Imo State, we greet you o.”
James Brown expressed his dismay at being blocked by Davido, noting, “But our in-law has blocked the gossiper of Imo State, ehn, as the first drag queen of the Ibo worldwide, first ever drag queen. He needs to come and pay homage to us na, ko easy na.”
Asking his followers if they were ready for the upcoming wedding, James Brown’s post added to the pre-wedding buzz surrounding Chioma and Davido.
Meanwhile, Davido surprised his fiancée Chioma with a lavish bridal shower on the evening of June 23. The event held at a picturesque waterside venue in Lekki was filled with love, laughter, and celebration.
Chioma and Davido’s wedding is scheduled to take place today, June 25, in Lagos.
