Former governor of Delta State James Ibori has mourned the late emeritus professor of literature, renowned playwright and poet John Pepper Clark alias J.P. Clark.
Clark died on Tuesday, according to a statement by the family.
In a tweet, Mr Ibori baded one of Africa’s finest playwrights goodbye, saying: “R.I.P John Pepper Clark.”
The family is yet to announce a date for the burial.
