Leicester City striker, Jamie Vardy, and Arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger, have been named the Premier League’s player and manager for the month of October.
Vardy, who is the League’s top scorer, netted seven times last month – taking his season’s tally to 12.
His exploits have helped the Foxes climb to third in the standings and earned him an England call-up for upcoming friendlies with Spain and France.
The striker clinched this award at the expense of Nigerian striker, Odion Ighalo, who was nominated for the second successive month.
Wenger, meanwhile, picked up the top managers prize for the 15th time after steering second-placed Gunners to four wins out of four.
The Frenchman edged out Leicester’s Claudio Ranieri, who oversaw three wins and a draw in October.
