Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos last year Abdul-Azeez Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, has condoled with a party chieftain over the death of his son.
Mr Agbaje’s eldest son Bunmi died on Tuesday. He was said to have suffered cardiac arrest.
In a condolence message issued by his spokesman Gbenga Ogunleye on Tuesday, Jandor said Bunmi’s death came as a rude shock.
Jandor described Bunmi’s untimely death as a devastating blow, not only to his family but the entire Lagos PDP family.
“It is a sad mournful moment. My thoughts and prayers are with my elder brother, Mr. Jimi Agbaje and his family.
“I pray that God will comfort him and grant Bunmi eternal rest,” he said.
Agbaje was the PDP governorship candidate in Lagos in 2015 and 2019.
Bunmi is survived by his parents and younger siblings.
