Even as commendations and encomiums have been pouring in from all over the world for Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Chairman, Prof. Attahiru Jega, filmmaker, Zeb Ejiro, has a different opinion.
Ejiro, known as the sheikh of Nollywood, took to his Facebook page to share his very uncomplimentary view on Jega.
He posted a picture of Jega and wrote “The face of a traitor. He took advantage of GEJ’s sincerity to rig the election in favour of his brother, but our time shall come.”
No sooner had he uploaded the post than he was inundated by comments from his friends.
While a few agreed with him that Jega was indeed a traitor, many advised him that Nigeria had gone beyond his level of thinking.
He has since deleted the offensive post.
It should be noted that a lot of Nollywood practitioners supported President Jonathan’s re-election because they say that he has done more for the industry than any other leader before him.
