Actress Jemima Osunde has celebrated her first onscreen mother Ufuoma McDermott on the latter’s 43rd birthday.
The 27-year-old shared Ufuoma’s picture in an Instagram story on Tuesday with a goodwill message.
She wrote: “Please help me wish my very special @ufuomamcdermotta happy birthday! My first ever onscreen mum! My big sister and an all round amazing human being! May God continue to bless you, keep you make his face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you.”
Ufuoma McDermott also shared a video of herself to celebrate her birthday.
“Years ago, I fell in love with growing old. I consider it an honour. A status we all pray and aspire to. A prayer we all hope is answered In age there’s comfort and closure There’s confidence and stance. There’s experience and beauty. Today I’m older and happier,” she captioned the video on Instagram.
Jemima landed her first movie role as Ufuoma’s daughter in the film Jungle Jewel before auditioning for a role in the Africa Magic series Tinsel.
