Actress Jemima Osunde has dismissed claims that she underwent a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL).
A social media user on X on Thursday expressed surprise over the alleged procedure, writing:
“I didn’t know @jemimaosunde did BBL, but that girl drives me wild.”
Responding, Jemima questioned the claim, asking, “Which of the Jemima?” suggesting she was not the one being referred to.
Her reaction comes weeks after actress Mary Remmy Njoku advised women against excessive body enhancement surgeries.
The filmmaker emphasised the importance of self-development, urging women to invest in their skills and intelligence rather than prioritising physical appearance.
Reality TV star Mercy Eke has previously admitted to undergoing a BBL in 2018, stating that she was influenced by peer pressure at the time.
She described the post-surgery experience as painful but said she was satisfied with the results.
Former Big Brother Naija housemate Nina Ivy has also spoken about undergoing the procedure and recently announced plans for a second surgery, expressing excitement about her transformation.
