Actor Jerry Amilo has deleted a video showing the body of the late Junior Pope who died in a boat accident.
Junior Pope was confirmed dead on Wednesday night after several attempts to resuscitate him failed. The actor alongside other crew members drowned in the River Niger area on their way back from the set of Another Side of Life, a movie produced by Adanma Luke.
Jerry who was at the hospital where Junior Pope was confirmed dead, shared a video of himself and the national president of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Emeka Rollas on Instagram on Thursday, staring at their colleague’s corpse.
The video sparked reactions as many, including his colleagues criticised him, for posting the video online.
Following the backlash, Jerry Amilo was forced to take down the video.
QEDNG’s check on his Instagram account shows that the video has been pulled down but the clip on his Instagram story remains.
