Veteran actors Jide Kosoko, Adebayo Salami, Mr Latin, Sunday Omobolanle and Yinka Quadri on Thursday attended the burial of their colleague Baba Suwe.
The actor was buried at his residence in Elepe, Ikorodu Lagos.
Other celebrities such as Femi Adebayo, Ronke Oshodi-Oke, Madam Saje, Modupe Johnson and filmmaker Abdullahi Abdulrasaq also attended the burial ceremony.
In a tribute to the deceased shared on Instagram, Adebayo Salami said that it is hard for him to say goodbye, but it has to be said.
“So hard to say goodbye, yet it must be said. If theatre is practiced up there, please make them smile more than you did for us here,” he wrote.
Adebayo Salami’s son Femi Adebayo also uploaded a video from the burial on Instagram.
“Paid my last respect to the late Baba Suwe today in Lagos…May his soul rest in peace,” he wrote.
Baba Suwe died on Monday November 22, 2021.
